Position Overview
\n
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the procurement, construction, and turnover phases of a large-scale EPC project in Louisiana.
\n
The project consists of multiple buildings and is transitioning from the engineering phase into construction, with foundations now getting underway. The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for overseeing the execution of two or more buildings, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure the work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a Project Manager with a strong background in LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or other heavy industrial EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Lead the procurement, construction, commissioning/turnover, and closeout activities for assigned buildings.
- Manage project execution from early construction through final completion and handover.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction management, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedule, cost, quality, safety, and overall progress.
- Review contractor performance and ensure construction activities align with project requirements and milestones.
- Identify potential schedule, cost, procurement, and construction risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support procurement activities, including equipment/material coordination, vendor management, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate construction sequencing and resolve field issues that could impact project execution.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across engineering, construction, procurement, and management teams.
- Track progress against project milestones and drive accountability across contractors and project teams.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with applicable engineering specifications, safety requirements, quality standards, and project procedures.
- Oversee punch list completion, commissioning support, turnover documentation, and final project closeout.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.
- 8+ years of project management experience within LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or heavy industrial construction.
- Proven experience managing EPC projects from engineering/procurement through construction and turnover.
- Experience overseeing multiple buildings, facilities, or major project work packages.
- Strong understanding of industrial construction, procurement, contractor management, and project controls.
- Experience working in an active construction environment with responsibility for schedule, cost, quality, and execution.
- Ability to effectively coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work primarily onsite in LA.

- Experience with project scheduling, cost control, change management, and risk management.
- Experience taking projects through construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.

- The ideal candidate is a hands-on EPC Project Manager who has successfully led large industrial construction projects in LNG or oil & gas environments. They should be comfortable working directly with contractors and field teams, managing multiple workstreams, resolving construction issues, and driving projects from the foundation stage through final turnover.
