Title: Contract Analyst
Location: Onsite at 8200 Coral Sea Street NE, Mounds View, MN 55112
Duration: 2 Years
Pay Rate: $42/hr on W2


Must Have:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to think critically in a matrixed environment
  • Familiarity with both legal contract terms and basic finance/budgeting principles


Role Overview:

  • This is a contract position for a Contract Analyst functioning as an individual contributor. The analyst will manage assigned deliverables, collaborate cross-functionally, and may lead smaller projects. Work will span from contract drafting to execution, ensuring compliance and application of specialized knowledge, particularly in the clinical research domain.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract lifecycle from drafting through execution
  • Apply strong customer service and communication skills
  • Analyze Fair Market Value (FMV) to support budget development and contract documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical, legal, reimbursement, and other internal teams
  • Conduct RFP/RFI processes, vendor analysis, and contract negotiations
  • Track and report on contract activity and maintain documentation
  • Review redlines, interpret intent, and escalate negotiations when needed
  • Lead smaller-scale contract projects with guidance from senior team members
  • Ensure contracts are aligned with GCP and clinical research standards


Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting clinical research or medical/scientific projects
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
  • Prior vendor agreement and contract management experience
  • Project Management background
  • Customer-facing role experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Bi-lingual skills (Spanish, French, Italian, etc.)


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in contracts/negotiations
  • OR Advanced degree (e.g. JD, Master’s) with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus
