Caregiver needed for a sweet couple in the comfort of their Washoe Valley home; Monday through Friday 9:00AM-4:00PM.

Care giving services are needed for both clients. The husband is currently on hospice care, and the wife has COPD, CHF, and significant hearing loss. Previously, the husband provided most of the care for his wife, but due to his decline and hospice placement, both clients now require ongoing support.

Care needs include assistance with changing Depends, bathing, light transferring, and gentle exercises such as walking and leg exercises. Both clients will also need help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and general support to ensure their safety, comfort, and quality of life at home.

Care Includes:

• Assistance with morning & afternoon routines

• Personal Care + Hygiene + Toileting/Incontinence Assistance + Bathing

• Companionship

• Light housekeeping and meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Fall prevention and safety monitoring

• Transfer Assistance
• Ability to provide transportation for client errands as needed

Requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience required

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with auto insurance

• Must pass a state and federal Background Check

• Ability to pass Drug Screening prior to employment

• Must Pass TB & Physical Testing

• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude

• Satisfactorily complete on-boarding, orientation and in-office training

(We will cover the cost of your TB, Physical, Drug Test, Background Check & CPR+First Aid Certification)

Location: Private residence in a quiet, safe area of Washoe Valley
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
