Systems Engineer Compensation
- The pay for this position is $69.44 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Systems Engineer Position Highlights
- This is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday with Friday remote
Systems Engineer Responsibilities
- Provide systems leadership through various phases of the product lifecycle
- Translate voice of customer and stakeholder needs into system and product requirements
- Conduct feasibility and risk assessments at the system/product level
- Facilitate cross-functional knowledge sharing to resolve product development issues
- Coordinate system-level product development and integration
- Investigate and resolve system behavior issues for on-market products
- Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) best practices in all projects
Systems Engineer
- 5+ years of system engineering experience – electrical or biomedical
- Experience with Requirements Management in QMS
- Experience generating requirements, including identifying input sources for requirements
- Experience with traceability
- Experience with Safety Standards: 60601-1 & 60601-1-2, 14971, 15223, 2417
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Postgraduate degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of related work experience (combination of work experience and advanced degrees considered)
- Strong background in Systems Engineering, medical device development, or a similar field
- Experience in systems integration and testing, system architecture, Reliability Engineering, Project Management, and Failure Modes Effects Analysis
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering and requirements management
- Ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams and work independently or collaboratively
- Proficiency in DFSS, statistical test design and analysis, or Critical Parameter Management
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with attention to detail
- Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus
