Job Description
As a Security Guard Dispatch Coordinator in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Dispatch professional in a retail location, you will help coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to incidents and service needs. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by handling calls for assistance, sharing site-specific information, and supporting security-related procedures at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner by dispatching appropriate personnel and communicating updates to key contacts.
- Monitor radios, telephones, cameras, and/or other communication systems to help identify issues, document activity, and relay information to on-site teams.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, noting times, locations, and actions taken during routine activity and unusual events.
- Conduct regular and random patrol support through dispatch coordination around the business and perimeter, understanding that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
