We are searching for a seasoned Hair Stylist with 5+ years of salon experience who is passionate about cutting-edge techniques, color mastery, and delivering bespoke guest experiences. The ideal stylist will build their client base while contributing to Glaze’s standout reputation in the Chatham community.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced hair cutting, color, gloss/glaze applications, and styling services
- Consult with guests to determine their vision, lifestyle needs, and hair goals
- Execute precision color techniques—balayage, highlights, color correction, and glosses
- Maintain a loyal client following through exceptional service, follow-up, and rapport
- Recommend at-home care and retail products aligned with our luxury brand
- Ensure workstations and tools are clean, sanitized, and organized
- Stay current on trends, attend in‐salon training, and bring new techniques to the team
- Actively contribute to Glaze’s upbeat, collaborative salon environment
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years of professional salon experience, ideally in a full-service or luxury salon
- Valid cosmetology license in NJ
- Expertise in advanced cutting and color techniques (balayage, glosses, color correction)
- Excellent communication skills and dedication to client satisfaction
- Self-directed with strong time management and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic team member committed to innovation and growth
- Existing client base is welcomed—but we also support stylists ready to grow
Pay will be based on experience and workload! This will include tips as well!
