About You
We’re seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Global Paralegal. In this role, you will deliver high-impact paralegal services that reduce global risk and legal cycle time. You will support global (North America, Asia, and Europe) corporate governance and legal entity management and reporting via scheduling, reporting, drafting, and managing documentation; drafting and releasing standard agreements within approved playbooks and limits, coordinating non-standard terms for attorney review, administering the contract management system and metrics, organizing insurer renewals and claims materials, and maintaining accurate legal records across all entities
Key Responsibilities:
- Finalize standard agreements within approved limits by drafting and releasing NDAs, standard terms, and template amendments under defined monetary and risk thresholds, and documenting variances against the playbook
- Prepare non-standard negotiations for attorney review by analyzing redlines, mapping issues to fallback language, summarizing risk points, and packaging clean markups and decision memos for counsel to take to closure
- Administer the contract management system across entities by maintaining templates, clause libraries, workflows, alerts, and dashboards; tracking turnaround and renewal dates; and reporting performance measures to the Chief Legal Officer
- Coordinate insurer renewals and claims documentation by compiling valuations and schedules, requesting endorsements and quotes, preparing claim files, proposing coverage options, and routing selections for Chief Legal Officer approval
- Support Corporate Governance functions. Organize legal records and subsidiary documentation by preparing, indexing, and retrieving executed agreements, exhibits, and corporate records; maintaining obligation trackers; and ensuring reliable search and audit readiness
- Deliver contract training for commercial teams by presenting concise, Chief Legal Officer-approved materials on key clauses, signature authority, and routing rules; recording attendance; and capturing common questions for updates
- Track outside counsel work and legal spend by reviewing invoices against scope and agreed rates, flagging variances, updating matter budgets and timelines, and issuing monthly spend and status reports in keeping with policies and processes developed and approved by the Chief Legal Officer. Maintaining the same that they are no more than a week in arrears
- Conduct and communicate legal research and fact-finding by analyzing statutes, guidance, and comparator terms; interviewing internal stakeholders; verifying facts and dates; and producing clear, cite-backed summaries for Legal and BCE
- Coordinate intellectual property (IP) filing logistics and calendars by tracking deadlines with external agents, compiling evidence and declarations, preparing cover materials, and confirming timely submissions and maintenance events.
Requirements
You should have:
- 7+ years in a corporate legal department or law firm with substantial contract work, governance, and matter coordination across multiple jurisdictions
- BS/BA (Paralegal Studies or related field) required; paralegal certificate preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Extensive legal research ability; Support of EH&S, Regulatory and Human Resources as requested
- Global remit with periodic travel (typically ≤15%), including international as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
- Extensive corporate governance experience; International experience within complex organizations; strong drafting and redline analysis; clear written and verbal communication; confidentiality and judgment; training delivery to non-lawyers; organization and deadline control; proficiency with a contract management system and standard productivity tools
Salary: $82,000-$119,000

Dymax takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Dymax salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of Dymax’s total compensation packages for employees.
