Job DescriptionOverview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg — Atlanta, GA. This 16-week travel assignment starts 09/20/2026. Pay range is $1,676–$1,746 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is night, 12-hour shifts (3 nights per cycle); no block schedules. Work on a high-acuity surgical-trauma unit in a hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult surgical-trauma patients on a high-acuity unit
- Assess and monitor patient status; administer medications per the plan of care; document in EPIC
- Collaborate with surgeons, case management, and therapy teams; participate in rounds and nurse handoffs between ED and admitting units
- Manage post-operative care, pain control, wound care, mobility support, and preventative care measures
- Respond to clinical changes and emergencies; escalate promptly as needed
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit protocols and standards

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of med-surg or high-acuity adult unit experience
- Ability to work night shifts; willingness to work given shifts (no block schedules)
