Job Title: Estate Planning Administrative Assistant

Location: Town & Country, Missouri

What You'll Do

  • Manage client progress through the Cordell Estate Planning Process in all Cordell offices that offer estate planning
  • Communicate with clients to book appointments, check on status of draft document review, and assist in resolving client issues.
  • Accurately update our Case Management Software to reflect client information and track client's progress through the Cordell Estate Planning Process
  • Administratively act as point of contact for Cordell Estate Planning offices nationwide
  • Prepare binders for client signings and maintain electronic files of scanned documents and drafts.
  • Attend estate plan document signing meetings and serve as witness/notary.
  • Handle sensitive client data with utmost discretion, care, and accuracy.
  • Perform tasks as assigned with accuracy and promptness, meeting all agreed-upon deadlines.

Who You Are
We're looking for someone who brings a blend of professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to quality client service. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Must have familiarity with estate planning documents and concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and approachable demeanor
  • Process oriented and works well with deadlines
  • Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including a solid understanding Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel applications as well as estate plan drafting software experience (please specify the drafting programs with which you have experience on your application)
  • Demonstrate proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized
  • A professional presence and the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to be onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to go above and beyond on simple requests to make things easier for others
