Location: Columbia, MO

Full-Time

Less than 2 Years Experience

$17-$22 Hourly

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Perform routine maintenance – Entry Level Tasks include oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes
  • Learn and eventually help perform: air conditioner re-charges, front end alignments, inspections, battery installations, headlight/taillight installations, etc.....
  • Learn to diagnose & Perform testing procedures - determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.

  • Perform various repairs - Working on repairing it right the first time

  • PMI/Digital Inspections - Providing vehicle service recommendations to a professional service adviser for estimating and approvals

  • Manage paperwork – Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.

  • Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
  • Help represent All-Star Automotives brand at events & digital platforms.

  • Be available to assist Management and help around the store

Requirements:

● High School Diploma or GED

● Driver's license with less than three violations in three years (Required)

Entry Level (Less than 2 years) of service technician experience

Entry Level knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must

● Willingness to participate in in-house training

● Ability to operate entry-level auto repair tools

● Listening and communication skills

Preferred License/Certification:

  • State Vehicle Inspection License (Must be able to obtain within 60 days of employment)

  • Willing to get ASE Certification (Plus if already obtained)
