About the Role
Zimmerer Kubota is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Kubota Mobile Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role operates from a fully equipped mobile service vehicle and travels to customer homes, job sites, and farms to perform on-site repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on Kubota tractors, mowers, UTVs, and construction equipment.
Youll be the face of Zimmerer Kubota in the field, delivering expert service, building trust with customers, and ensuring Kubota equipment stays running at peak performance.
Position Responsibilities: Perform in-field diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Kubota and allied-brand equipment.
Accurately diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and engine-related issues.
Order parts as needed and maintain inventory on your mobile service truck.
Create detailed service reports, repair documentation, and technical notes.
Maintain and care for all company assets, including tools, service truck, and technology.
Communicate professionally with customers, service managers, and parts departments.
Provide a high level of customer service and represent the Zimmerer Kubota brand with professionalism.
Performance Measurement: Must have your own tools necessary for field repairs and diagnostics.
2+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment (Kubota experience a plus).
Strong ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and repair software.
Valid drivers license required (CDL preferred but not required).
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme Texas heat, cold, and varying weather.
Tolerance for job-site conditions, including noise, hazardous materials, fumes, and odors.
Must follow safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company safety policies at all times.
Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and manual tool operation.
