Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are seeking a Deltek Maconomy Extender–certified Developer with strong techno-functional expertise to support development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Maconomy ERP system. This role requires hands-on development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions across finance modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Architect / SME for Deltek Maconomy development using Maconomy Extender
• Analyze and understand functional business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and customize Maconomy ERP modules, primarily within finance domains
• Perform hands-on development using Java, MScript, PL/SQL, XML, and related technologies
• Prepare and execute Maconomy transition plans
• Develop and maintain stored procedures and APIs
• Perform ticket analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution across Maconomy environments
• Identify root causes and implement fixes through configuration, data updates, or code changes
• Coordinate testing, reviews, approvals, and deployments across environments
• Prepare technical documentation, understanding documents, and conduct playback sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
• Provide user communication and ongoing production support
• Apply fixes in various Maconomy environments following approval processes
• Demonstrate a strong technical mindset with the ability to self-learn and adapt

Required Qualifications (MUST HAVE)

• Deltek Maconomy Extender Certification (Required)
• Strong development experience with:
• • Java
  • MScript (Maconomy proprietary language)
  • PL/SQL
  • Core Java
• Hands-on experience with:
• • Stored procedures
  • APIs
  • XML
• Proven experience developing and supporting Maconomy ERP systems
• Solid understanding of ERP finance modules:
• • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with a self-driven, learning-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications (GOOD TO HAVE)

• Strong techno-functional expertise at the application level
• Prior experience supporting or developing ERP finance solutions
• Client-facing experience with strong communication skills
