Position Summary

As the Compliance Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality improvement, and risk management. You’ll oversee internal audits, ensure adherence to state regulations, and lead accreditation preparation efforts across all service locations. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Auditing: Design and execute regular internal chart and billing audits to prevent fraud and errors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare agency sites for CARF, Joint Commission, and NC DHHS accreditation audits.
  • Policy Development: Develop and update agency policies, procedures, and staff compliance training programs.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery and ensure risk management protocols are effectively implemented.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Healthcare Compliance, Healthcare Administration, or Human Services.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience auditing behavioral health operations.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of state regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance best practices.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical and organizational skills to manage audits and ensure accuracy.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead compliance efforts across multiple locations and collaborate with diverse teams.
