In order to do that you need to be given the opportunity to run your own studio and lead and manage your team, which is exactly what you will be hired to do as a General Manager at Discover Strength.
General Manager Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop a team of professional Exercise Physiologists.
- Create a culture of consistent delivery of world-class workouts.
- Inspire excellence in customer service.
- Drive sales by calling leads, executing local marketing tactics, and participating in business networking groups.
- Lead, manage, and drive accountability.
- Deliver world-class workouts as an Exercise Physiologist.
- Manage the physical plant.

- Spend 15-25 hours per week on the floor working with clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (in exercise science related field is preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- 3 years of management experience (preferred).
- 1 year of sales experience calling leads and executing local marketing (preferred).
- Experience in health club, fitness, or exercise setting (preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership in personal training or strength and conditioning.
- Ability and passion for hiring, on-boarding, developing, managing, coaching, and retaining staff.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday with occasional weekend commitments.
Work Setting:
- In person
