We are seeking a Woodworking/Millwork Estimator to support our commercial architectural millwork, residential custom woodworking, and institutional projects. Reporting to the owner or principal and project manager, this role will collaborate with the estimating and project management team, using custom estimating software to develop accurate, competitive bids. Occasional site visits may be required for measurements, scope reviews, or client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and project specifications to determine scope and estimating requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for woodworking and millwork projects.
• Research and develop accurate material pricing.
• Estimate labor requirements and associated costs.
• Prepare competitive bids and develop clear project proposals.
• Review change orders for scope, pricing, and cost impacts.
• Conduct occasional site visits for measurements, scope reviews, and client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in woodworking and millwork estimating.
• Experience with architectural millwork and custom woodworking.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and quantity takeoff.
• Knowledge of cost estimation practices.
• Experience using custom estimating software.
