Data Engineer- New York, NY- Write tools to clssfy, onbrd, & reconcl data & onbrd datasts using Arflw, explr data, & auto tsks using a mod Python data stck. Dev & test architecture that enble data extrction & trnsfrmtn for pred or prescrip fin mdling. Prfrm data engg, reconciliations, validtn, & qlty checks, & id & dev new prcsses w/i the data req process to enrich data. Utlz Python & SQL prgrmg to dev scalable data strge & distrib sys for adv rsrch, stat, & data analysis. Eval, parse, enhance, & norm data by perfrming initial quant analysis to assess suitability of data under trail & dev pipelines to auto prcsses. Cmpile &, analyze & prov internal teams w/ alt datasets & mkt & fin data used to dev influential busi & trading strats across all asst classes, enhnce the data wrkflws arnd existing datasts for more productv rsrch, & norm key data metrics acrss multi data vendors & deliv pltfrms. Reqs: Bach (U.S. or forgn equiv) in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, Fin Engg, or a clsly rel fld, plus 2 yrs of exp in the pos offrd, or SW Engr, or rel exp. All req'd exp must have incldd: Exp perfrmg data reconciliations, validations, & qlty checks using Python. Exp automating tasks to enhance Real Time Data (RTD) efficiency, data cleaning, debugging data issues using Python. Exp debgging code issues using data & stack trace analysis. Exp producing high-quality ingestible data for dwnstrm users. Exp optimzng distrib sys using Python. Employer will accpt any amt of prof exp w/ the reqd skills. Salary Range: $185K-250K.
