RS Electric is seeking a full-time Construction Project Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role is essential to ensuring project success and profitability.
Responsibilities:
· Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
· Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
· Analyze historical data and market trends to improve accuracy of estimates.
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors for pricing.
· Assist in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients.
· Monitor project costs and provide updates during execution to ensure budget compliance.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimating electrical construction projects.
· Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost factors.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software preferred.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
