Legal Assistant or Paralegal that would report to and support Chief Trial Counsel & Senior Counsel in fast-paced, high asset/high conflict, Family Law litigation. Must be able to manage emails, calendars, communication with clients and multiple courts, and assist in document preparation, among other assigned duties.
Tasks, Skills & Qualifications Preferred:
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, Google-based email & calendars; E-filing experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive communication skills with clients, courts, attorneys, and staff, while upholding strict confidentiality of all client matters
- Managing calendars, email and deadlines
- Multi-tasking assignments
- Returning calls and emails the same day and keeping everyone informed of all case developments
- Follow procedures for preparing legal documentation, as well as upload, save, and organize documents in the firm’s document management system
- E-file court documents and docket to internal system
- Draft documents and subpoenas for review by assigned attorneys
- Serve as backup for reception (cover lunch hour, end of day and vacations) and assist in managing phone calls, faxes, mail
- Other tasks as assigned by firm attorneys with assistance from existing support members
- High School Diploma or GED required
- This position is full-time, based in office, M-F

- Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000, based on experience
