Our client is seeking a highly experienced IT professional to support and coordinate enterprise-level technology initiatives. As part of this effort, the organization is looking for a full-time IT Project Manager with extensive experience coordinating IT project management, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and risk management activities.
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with District standards and procedures. The position also supports system users through application development, training, system upgrades, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of real-time systems and data environments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate IT project management activities, including engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure successful execution and delivery.
- Develop technical applications to support end users and operational needs.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
- Provide training for system products and procedures to ensure proper usage and adherence to standards.
- Perform application upgrades to maintain system functionality and performance.
- Monitor, maintain, and report on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
- Troubleshoot system, application, and operational issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Ensure the project lifecycle complies with District standards, policies, and established procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 16 years of experience planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT project activities.
- Minimum of 16 years of experience leading projects and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Extensive experience coordinating IT project management, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and risk management functions.
- Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience: Required
- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT project activities: 16 years (Required)
- Leading IT projects and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures: 16 years (Required)
