Key Qualifications:

  • Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or early childhood setting strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) caseloads for ages 3-5
  • Ability to manage diverse speech and language needs within a collaborative educational team
  • Up-to-date resume highlighting relevant experience and credentials

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the speech and language needs of early childhood students within the ECSE program
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services according to individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success and promote strong communication skills
  • Attend scheduled meetings, participate in team planning, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the educational setting
