Be at the forefront of supporting young learners by providing essential speech and language services for early childhood students. This contract opportunity involves working with children aged 3-5 in a vibrant educational environment, ensuring each student receives individualized care to thrive in their communication and learning journey.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or early childhood setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) caseloads for ages 3-5
- Ability to manage diverse speech and language needs within a collaborative educational team
- Up-to-date resume highlighting relevant experience and credentials
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate the speech and language needs of early childhood students within the ECSE program
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services according to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate actively with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success and promote strong communication skills
- Attend scheduled meetings, participate in team planning, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the educational setting
