- Prior transactional entertainment law firm experience with a law firm or in-house legal experience at a studio or streamer.

Position Details
- Title: Contract Attorney, Mid/Senior-Level
- Reports to: Founder & Principal Attorney, Nina Ameri
- Location: Fully remote, but the offices are in both Beverly Hills and Irvine.
- Hourly Rate: $100 per hour
Compensation:
$100 hourly
Responsibilities:
Ameri Law Projects include but are not limited to:
- Production Legal for Film, Television, and New Media projects
- Drafting and negotiating
- Shopping and option agreements
- Collaboration and attachment agreements
- Co-production agreements
- Production contracts and releases (talent, participant, guest appearances, sync licenses, vendor agreements)
- Content licenses
- Sales and distribution agreements
- Production services agreements
- Life rights agreements
- Digital Media influencer and brand agreements
- Clearing and filing trademarks and copyrights
- Cease and desist letters
- Demand letters
- Music licensing
- Book publishing agreements
- Formation of single-purpose entities for independent films
- Formation of loan-out corporations
- Fair use and clearance letters
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years (ideally more than 10) as an entertainment attorney at an entertainment law firm, network, studio, distributor, or production company
- Skills: Strong issue-spotting instincts and negotiation skills. Ability to draft agreements with precision and attention to detail
- Licensing: Active California Bar License
- Education: Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
