Responsibilities
Located at Community Subacute & Transitional Care Center
- Process, fold, inspect, and distribute washable linens, garments, and specialty items in alignment with safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment and follow established protocols for washing a variety of materials.
- Maintain organization of clean and soiled laundry storage areas to ensure workflow efficiency and cleanliness.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate upon hire or transfer into position required or
- General Education Development (GED) obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into position required
- Failure to obtain the GED within 1 year will result in termination of employment
- 3 months of previous Environmental Services required or
- Must be comfortable working in extreme heat and standing for long periods of time required
- Comfortable with strong odors required
