A well?established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Litigation Secretary with insurance defense and recent law firm experience to support its litigation team. This is a fully in?office role supporting multiple attorneys in a fast?paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience
- Discretionary year?end bonus

Position Overview
- Support 3-4 attorneys, primarily aligned with one partner and assigned associates
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and manage correspondence, discovery, and pleadings
- Maintain attorney calendars and litigation deadlines
- Timekeeping and expense report processing
- Trial preparation and coordination
- File documents in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Edit, proofread, and format legal documents
Requirements
- Insurance defense experience required
- Recent law firm experience
- Previous legal assistant or litigation secretary experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple attorneys with varying work styles
