Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving young learners as a speech-language pathologist. This role is an excellent chance to provide meaningful support in an early childhood educational environment for a maternity leave coverage from November 16 to January 28, with schedule hours running from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois SLP license and PEL required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with early childhood-aged students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to deliver both individual and group interventions effectively
- Organizational skills for maintaining records and data collection
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in early childhood programs
- Provide direct therapy and support to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to implement IEP goals
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case management discussions
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements
