Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced IT Healthcare Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft System Center technologies. This role focuses on administration, enhancement, and support of Service Manager infrastructure, including workflow development, service request management, and system optimization. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, implement, and improve service offerings and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft System Center Service Manager environment
- Design, develop, and manage service requests and service offerings
- Build, maintain, and enhance workflows using System Center Orchestrator
- Support and manage integrations with web-based service portals
- Perform system maintenance including updates, patches, and upgrades
- Develop and generate reports on system usage and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Service Manager-related processes
- Recommend improvements for efficiency, reporting structures, and productivity
- Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to fulfill service requirements
- Provide occasional after-hours support for system updates and project needs
Required Technical Skills:
- Microsoft System Center Service Manager (strong hands-on experience)
- Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (workflow development and maintenance)
- Experience with service portal customization and administration
- Knowledge of system patching, upgrades, and maintenance practices
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience with web portal integrations for Service Manager
- Scripting or front-end customization (e.g., JavaScript)
- Familiarity with enterprise IT service management (ITSM) tools and processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a development or engineering role supporting Microsoft System Center Service Manager
- Demonstrated expertise in system design, implementation, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications related to Microsoft Server Administration
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise IT environments
