**Exciting Opportunity for ER Nurse: Join Our Dynamic Team!** **Job Description:** - Join a fast-paced 16-bed ER with a dedicated trauma bay and fast-track beds. - Work with a diverse patient population, including high volumes of stroke and STEMI cases. - Participate in a 24/7 cath lab operation to save lives. - Engage in various trauma cases, including MVC traumas, and provide compassionate care for psychiatric and geriatric patients. - Deliver care to pediatric patients and address their unique needs. - Utilize your nursing skills in an independent and competent manner within our clinical setting. - Provide both routine and complex patient care while focusing on long-term goals. - Develop your ability to manage clinical contingencies effectively. - Make appropriate assignments and delegate responsibilities to optimize patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Meet OneCHRISTUS Competency expectations: Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders. - Delve into the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for comprehensive nursing care. - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. - Assess learning needs; educate patients, families, and caregivers while identifying issues and resources. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. - Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required. - Active RN License in the state of TX or compact. **Work Schedule:** - 7AM - 7PM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
