Our auto repair shop has an immediate opening for a Mechanic Assistant. Under the direction of our senior mechanic, you will assist with car maintenance jobs. You must be familiar with the general workings of a car engine. Our ideal candidate has some experience with fixing and maintaining vehicles, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities:

<li>Assist with basic maintenance tasks on customer vehicles</li>
<li>Keeps work area clean and safe</li>
<li>Moves cars in and out of the bay area</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Requirements and Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED certificate</li>
<li>Completion of an auto repair program (preferred, but not required)</li>
<li>Experience with hand and power tools</li>
<li>Willing to learn</li>
<li>Must be dependable and punctual</li>
<li>Valid Driver's license</li>
<li>Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.</li>
