Koch Companies is looking for an EDI Developer who enjoys hands-on integration work and takes pride in building reliable, scalable EDI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who wants real technical ownership and the opportunity to work across the full EDI lifecycle.
You’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting EDI integrations that connect our systems with customers and trading partners. Mapping, B2B integration, and Gentran development are critical for success in this role. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to translate business needs into clean, dependable EDI solutions.
In addition to day-to-day development work, you’ll help improve existing EDI processes, support new implementations, and contribute to longer-term EDI strategy and system improvements.

Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00+ (commensurate with experience)

On a typical day, you may:

Develop and maintain EDI mappings based on trading partner requirements

Configure and support B2B integrations using Gentran and related tools

Troubleshoot failed transactions, mapping issues, and data discrepancies
-
Test EDI transactions and coordinate trading partner onboarding and go-lives

Work with internal teams to understand operational and technical requirements

Document mappings, workflows, and integration logic

Support ongoing EDI operations and respond to issues as they arise

Participate in discussions around system design, enhancements, and future improvements
Required Experience & Skills
-
5+ years of hands-on EDI experience
-
Strong experience with EDI mapping and transaction development

Hands-on experience in B2B integration environments
-
Experience with Gentran (Server for Windows and/or B2B Integrator)

Working knowledge of EDI standards and common transaction sets (204, 210, 214, 856, 940, 945, 997)

Experience with EDI communication protocols (AS2, FTP, VANs)

Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues
Preferred Experience

Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments

Familiarity with financial or billing-related EDI transactions

Experience using XPath or similar transformation tools

Experience coordinating with external trading partners and vendors

About the Role This role is office-based, with regular working hours that may include earlier or later meetings to accommodate different schedules. The salary grade for this position ranges from $96,960.40 - $143,484.00 annually. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications, the targeted pay range for this role is $115,000.00 - $125,000.00.
