Job Description

Bulldog Contractors Inc is a premier post-frame construction company looking for an experienced, high-caliber Lead Post-Frame Foreman to run a building crew. We specialize in high-quality agricultural buildings, commercial structures, and custom suburban shops across the Inland Northwest.

If you are a field-tested leader who takes pride in straight lines, square frames, and running an efficient, safe job site, we want to talk to you. This position drives regional project execution from the ground up, directing crews on sites throughout Eastern/Central Washington and Northern Idaho.

What We Offer

  • Top-Tier Pay: Starting at $28+ per hour DOE with room to grow.
  • Company Vehicle: Company-provided truck and fuel card for commuting and traveling to regional job sites.
  • Incentive Program: A structured crew incentive program that pays you extra cash for hitting production goals, beating build timelines, and maintaining high quality.
  • Retirement Security: 401(k) retirement plan with company match to help secure your future.
  • Holiday Pay & Bonuses: Paid holidays off throughout the year, plus an annual Christmas bonus to reward your hard work and dedication.
  • Consistent Work: Steady, year-round regional projects—no seasonal layoffs.
  • Clear Policies: Honest, transparent compensation structures for travel and drive time out of town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crew Leadership: Lead, train, and manage a 3-to-4-man framing crew to complete post-frame buildings safely, on schedule, and up to Bulldog standards.
  • Site Layout & Framing: Read blueprints, handle site layout, string lines, dig/pour concrete footings, set heavy structural posts, frame trusses, and install roof purlins and wall girts.
  • Metal Installation: Overlook precise installation of metal siding, roofing, trim, wainscoting, and large overhead doors.
  • Safety & Quality Control: Maintain a clean, organized job site, enforce OSHA safety compliance, and ensure zero-defect craftsmanship before leaving a build.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated post-frame / pole building construction experience is highly preferred. (Strong custom residential framing or pre-engineered metal building experience will be considered).
  • Leadership: At least 1–2 years of experience successfully running a construction crew as a foreman or lead carpenter.
  • Equipment Skills: Proficiency operating heavy equipment on-site (telehandlers, forklifts, skid steers).
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel to regional job sites across Central/Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho when required.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record to operate company-provided vehicles.
