Position Overview
The Mechanic I will support maintenance operations at a water treatment facility, ensuring equipment and systems run efficiently and without interruption. This role involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment plant equipment and systems
- Maintain buildings, structures, grounds, machinery, and related equipment
- Inspect, lubricate, and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation
- Replace components such as pump/valve packing, bearings, and other mechanical parts
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Support overall facility operations through timely maintenance and repairs
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2+ years of maintenance and repair experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
