ABOUT PRECISION SHOOTING CENTER
Precision Shooting Center is a veteran-owned and operated, next-generation indoor simulation range and firearms training center located in Plymouth, MN. We offer cutting-edge simulator-based shooting experiences, private suites, CQB (close-quarters battle) training areas with modular setups, haptic weapon systems, and immersive scenarios—no live firearms or live-fire ranges. Our goal is to deliver a safe, innovative, and fun environment for skill-building, recreational simulation, and professional training for civilians, enthusiasts, and law enforcement. POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager will lead the daily operations of Precision Shooting Center with a strong emphasis on operational safety—ensuring all guests and staff follow simulator guidelines, facility rules, and best practices for a secure, injury-free environment. At the heart of the role is delivering outstanding customer service and cultivating a welcoming, inclusive, and fun atmosphere where visitors feel excited, comfortable, and motivated to return—whether they're beginners discovering simulation shooting or experienced users tackling advanced scenarios. The Manager will proactively drive sales and revenue growth by engaging guests, recommending memberships, booking simulator bays and private sessions, promoting training packages and events, upselling add-ons, and building lasting customer relationships to support the center's success.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary: $24 - $28 per hour

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all daily operations of the simulation center, including simulator usage, guest check-ins, facility maintenance, and overall flow.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff to ensure consistent high performance, positive guest interactions, and smooth operations.
- Open and close the facility according to established procedures and protocols.
- Track, monitor, and evaluate key metrics such as membership sales, simulator session bookings, event attendance, and revenue; provide regular reports and insights to optimize performance.
- Evaluate employee performance, offer constructive feedback, and contribute to team development and morale.
- Address and resolve concerns or issues raised by employees and guests promptly and professionally, turning experiences into positive outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of simulator systems, software updates, and industry trends in simulation training.
- Enforce facility safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe, responsible use of all equipment and spaces.
- Collaborate with owner on operational improvements, staffing needs, marketing initiatives, and customer experience enhancements.
- Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, calm demeanor under pressure, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software programs (including simulator management systems like Smokeless Range or similar).
- Must be legally eligible to possess a firearm in the State of Minnesota.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for activities such as instruction at live fire shooting ranges or events such as private parties, trade shows, or gun shows.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree in business management, marketing or similar fields.
- Prior retail sales, customer service management, or hospitality management experience.
- Experience working for a live-fire range and familiarity with firearms and firearm instruction.
- Experience working at a simulation range, gaming center, VR/AR facility, or similar entertainment/training venue.
- Firearms instructor certification from a recognized organization such as the USCCA, NRA, NLEFIA, or IALEFI.
- Valid MN Permit to Carry.
- Military or law enforcement experience.
- Familiarity with simulator training programs (e.g., Smokeless Range or similar systems).
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry objects weighing 50+ lbs, and perform dynamic movements (e.g., running, kneeling, prone positions).
- Work in an indoor environment with simulator screens, lighting effects, haptic feedback, and audio systems.
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor live-fire ranges in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and dust; required use of appropriate eye and ear protection.
- Strict adherence to all safety protocols, statutory requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to match peak customer traffic.
