SANITATION TECHNICIAN

Location: Los Angeles, 90061

Start date: ASAP

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2+ year of experience
Experience working in a CLEAN ROOM manufacturing environment
Can start ASAP

Summary:
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for the cleaning process of various equipment, production rooms, and the facility. This position includes routine quarterly and annual cleaning of the facility.

While performing the duties of this job, employee is constantly required to move and access manufacturing equipment and other office machinery. Employee is constantly required to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. While communicating, employee is required to be attentive and be able to react quickly to sounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to observe details at close range (within a foot of the observer). Constantly operates, uses, prepares, inspects, places, detects and positions manufacturing equipment and other office machinery. Employee is consistently required to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of the time. Employee will need to constantly position self to operate manufacturing equipment and other office machinery. Regularly transports and positions items up to 55 lbs. (25 kg) and occasionally transports and positions items up to 200 lbs. (91 kg) assisted by ancillary equipment. Must be able to work in cold environments and on concrete floors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is intermittently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
