About the Role:
Join Family Partners of Minnesota as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide support and assistance in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in developing and achieving personal goals and objectives.
  • Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress regularly.
  • Facilitate engaging recreational and social activities to promote community involvement.
  • Document and report any changes in client behavior or health status.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Collaborate with team members and families to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience in the healthcare or social services field is a plus.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to client-centered care.
  • Must pass background checks and training requirements.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
