Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location-Type: Hybrid (3 Days A Week Onsite (Tues, Weds, Thurs) - in Westborough, MA 01581)
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: Contract to Hire (6 Months)
W2 Pay Rate Range: $43/hr – $55/hr

Job Description:
The DevOps Engineer will support the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure while helping modernize legacy applications into scalable DevOps environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitHub Actions
  • Support migration of legacy applications into modern DevOps pipelines
  • Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configure pipelines and infrastructure using YAML
  • Monitor application health and reliability using observability tools such as Datadog
  • Troubleshoot issues across deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and applications
  • Partner with development and operations teams to improve automation and reliability
  • Support cloud deployments and infrastructure scaling initiatives
  • Maintain DevOps standards around version control, secrets management, and deployment processes

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills/Experiences:

  • 6 years of DevOps, cloud engineering, or CI/CD experience
  • Strong AWS DevOps experience including cloud infrastructure and deployments
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Ansible)
  • Kubernetes and Docker experience supporting containerized environments
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform required)
  • Experience configuring infrastructure and pipelines using YAML
  • Experience supporting legacy application modernization into DevOps environments
  • Monitoring/observability experience (Datadog preferred)
  • Mid-level Python scripting for automation
  • Experience with cloud databases such as DynamoDB
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced enterprise environments

Nice-to-Have Skills/Experiences (NOT required, but a plus!) :

  • Experience with Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with Helm or additional IaC tooling
  • Experience supporting integration platforms such as MuleSoft or ODI
  • Experience working in large, global engineering organizations
  • Experience improving deployment frequency and DevOps maturity practices
