We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems that power our telecommunications and contact center operations. This role is ideal for someone with deep Java expertise and hands-on experience in call center technologies.This is a remote opportunity to work from home. What You’ll Do:
- Architect and develop backend services and APIs using Java
- Integrate and optimize telephony platforms, including SIP and VoIP systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance call routing, IVR, and real-time analytics
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across contact center applications
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical strategy
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of telecommunications protocols (SIP, RTP, VoIP)
- Familiarity with contact center platforms, CTI integrations, and CRM systems
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Asterisk or similar open-source PBX systems
- Background in financial services or consumer lending
