Apex Systems is currently hiring for Facilities Support consultants with reputable Technology company.
Details:
Client: Technology
Location: Fayetteville, GA (Multiple shifts available - See Below)
Length: 6+ month Assignment
Pay: $15 - $17/hour W2
Shift Info (4 Different Shifts Available – 12 Hour Days):
- Day (A)
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (7am – 7pm EST)
- Day (B)
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (7am – 7pm EST)
- Night (A)
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (7pm – 7am EST)
- Night (B)
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (7pm – 7am EST)
12 Hour Shifts (One Week – 36 Hours and One Week – 48 Hours (OT paid for 8 hours during the 48 hour week)
Job Summary:
The Facilities Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within the critical infrastructure facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks in all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, and server rooms.
- Follow strict cleaning guidelines and procedures for controlled environments.
- Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and products (e.g., HEPA-filtered vacuums, anti-static cleaning cloths, and solutions).
- Clean sensitive equipment like servers, racks, and cooling systems, exercising extreme care to prevent damage.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling effectively.
- Conduct minor building repairs and report any necessary major repairs to management.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in safety briefings and training to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to restricted access protocols and maintain security within designated areas.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a janitorial or cleaning role within a large environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
- Ability to use and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, lifting (potentially up to 50 lbs.), and operating equipment.
