Location: Juno Beach, FL (Remote Available) | Contract: 12 Months | Rate: $59/hour

Overview

Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to oversee critical construction and renewable energy projects. lead compliance and execution for Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)–related federal tax credit requirements. This role serves as a subject-matter lead for Domestic Content Kicker, Beginning of Construction, and Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship standards, ensuring projects remain audit-ready and fully compliant throughout the project lifecycle.

This position combines strategic oversight, detailed compliance execution, and cross-functional coordination across project teams, contractors, consultants, and tax advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of IRA compliance, including Domestic Content Kicker, Beginning of Construction, and Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship requirements, ensuring eligibility for federal tax credit programs.
  • Direct and monitor project activities to ensure compliance with domestic content thresholds and beginning of construction standards across assigned projects.
  • Manage all tax credit documentation, reporting, and verification processes. Maintain comprehensive and organized records to support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Prepare for and support audits conducted by federal agencies. Coordinate closely with tax advisors, auditors, and internal finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of findings.
  • Oversee accounting, compliance, and advisory consultants supporting domestic content and IRA compliance efforts. Review deliverables, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and consistent application of IRA compliance requirements.
  • Identify potential compliance risks, gaps, or audit exposure related to tax credits and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis to support compliance decisions, guide leadership, and recommend corrective or strategic actions.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned in support of special projects and evolving compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance, audit, or a related regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing third-party consultants or professional service providers
  • Strong working knowledge of federal tax credit programs, including PTC, ITC, and Domestic Content
  • Proficiency with project management, compliance reporting, and documentation tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation discipline
