Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a current, valid special education teaching certification
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting

- Skilled in adapting curriculum, modifying lessons, and implementing behavior interventions
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in working with students who have diverse learning needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver personalized instruction and interventions for students with varying disabilities
- Assess student progress, track goals, and modify teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, attending meetings and contributing thoughtful insights
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and emotionally supportive classroom environment
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education
- Leverage both technology and traditional approaches to maximize student engagement and success
- Promote self-advocacy and independence among students
