Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests for various mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems, primarily within the automotive sector. The role aims to ensure the reliability and performance of our products, focusing on thermal and temperature testing as well as motor functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
- Conduct thermal and temperature testing to evaluate product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and specifications.
- Utilize LabView and other tools for test automation and data analysis.
- Analyze test results and document findings, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in the design review process to ensure testability of products.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for test failures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in test engineering within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tesla and SpaceX products and testing methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in LabView and experience with test automation techniques.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
