Property Management Coordinator/Property Manager
J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. seeks a Property Management Coordinator reporting to the Senior Vice President of Property Management. J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. is an innovative commercial real estate development and property management company in the Mid-Atlantic Region boasting a management portfolio of nearly 30 retail centers, totaling nearly 10 million square feet of retail properties. This is a full-time position in office 5 days a week in our main office in York, PA.
Responsibilities
· Support the Property Management Department to prepare and update lease files and rent rolls and track utilities and equipment inventory
· Interface with Accounting Department about accounts receivable and accounts payable
· Assist with vendor relationships to ensure any maintenance, construction and various outside services have been completed to a high-standard and in timely manner
· Interface with Township and local officials to ensure compliance with ordinances
· Help to resolve tenant complaints, enforce rules of occupancy, inspect vacant units and ensure repairs are completed in timely manner
· Assist with reconciling security deposits and move-out accounts; ensure all final charges are assessed
· Excel in customer service to maintain Tenant relationships and welcome new Tenants
· Work alongside Leasing Department to understand future Tenant occupancies and construction build out requirements
· Help Senior Vice President oversee buildings, grounds maintenance and security of properties and follow company rules, regulations and guidelines to ensure grounds and units are properly maintained
Qualifications
· Ability to abstract Leases and understand Tenant expirations and rent rolls
· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Yardi Property Management Software
· Strong communication, attention to detail and organization skills to work effectively on a team and support various client needs
· Active Driver's License and vehicle required. Ability to travel extensively to company properties located in Mid-Atlantic
· Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task
· Strong organizational and communication skills, including writing, reporting and research
· Real Estate License would be a benefit.
