LHH is recruiting on behalf of a confidential defense industry client for an experienced Information Security Analyst to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs at Naval Base Point Mugu, near Camarillo, CA. This role focuses on DevSecOps automation, CI/CD integration, and cybersecurity assurance. Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $120,000 – $153,000 annually
Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, location, and any applicable contractual requirements. -

Key ResponsibilitiesInformation Assurance
-
Develop, implement, and monitor security protocols to protect networks and data.
-
Identify system vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
-
Ensure digital assets and infrastructure are protected with appropriate security controls.

Respond to cybersecurity incidents, including breaches and malware threats.

Collaborate with ISSOs and Cybersecurity Leads on incident response and prevention.
DevSecOps Integration
-
Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines to reduce software vulnerabilities.

Promote shared security responsibility across development and operations teams.
-
Automate security checks throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Support continuous integration, delivery, feedback, and operations processes.
Qualifications
-
Experience: 3–10 years in computer/network security, including secure system design, testing, and implementation.

Certifications:

Security+
-
CISSP or NSA equivalent
-
IAM Level 2 (DoD Directive 8570.01)

Technical Skills:
-
Strong background in DevSecOps and Linux
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Soft Skills:
-
Excellent communication (verbal, written, interpersonal)

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Education Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Substitution Options: -
6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

4 additional years of experience with a relevant associate degree
Security Clearance
-
Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance (T5/Secret required at time of hire).

Employment is contingent upon passing a security investigation and meeting eligibility for access to classified information.

U.S. citizenship is required at the time of application.
