Assistant Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager that will support the Project Manager in overseeing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project documentation, and assisting in the overall project management process for commercial construction and multi-family projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
- Help prepare project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Assist in resolving issues and conflicts that may arise during the project life cycle
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on the job site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction or project management
- Knowledge of multi-family construction processes and best practices
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
