The Merchandiser is responsible for stocking and maintaining fresh bakery products in local grocery stores to ensure product availability and attractive displays. This role involves organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness in storage areas, and ensuring shelves and display locations are properly stocked.
Job Responsibilities
- Merchandise fresh bakery products in designated grocery store accounts
- Ensure adequate product availability on shelves and display areas
- Maintain clean and organized back-room inventory
- Monitor product levels and rotate stock as needed
- Follow all company and safety guidelines during merchandising activities
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations, including passing a DOT Physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable)
- Ability to lift, carry, and move bakery products as required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- High school diploma preferred
