Application Technical Specialist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $17.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Application Technical Specialist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday (Hybrid schedule – on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
• Training is full-time onsite for 5 days a week and may vary in shift timing within the 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM window

Application Technical Specialist Responsibilities

• Provide call center-based technical support to store locations, vendors, and internal staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CVS store equipment
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift availability based on project needs
• Ensure adherence to implementation and deployment processes
• Update database records with issue resolutions and technician progress
• Render assistance in IT hardware troubleshooting and equipment deployment

Application Technical Specialist Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Clear, accurate, and tactful communication both verbally and in writing
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Must be able to adjust work hours based on project schedules
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or education related to IT hardware installations
• Military veterans encouraged to apply, even without specific technical experience
• Familiarity with intermediate/expert technical terminology
• Supervisory skills are a plus but not required
• Technical installation experience is beneficial
