Job DescriptionPHARMACY TECHNICIAN – RETAIL POSITION OVERVIEW:Seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician with retail pharmacy experience to support daily pharmacy operations, prescription processing, medication preparation, and patient service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Prepare medications for patients.</li>
<li>Receive and verify prescriptions.</li>
<li>Price and fill prescriptions.</li>
<li>Obtain pharmacist approval.</li>
<li>Complete patient paperwork related to prescriptions.</li>
<li>Assist with insurance claims processing.</li>
<li>Stock and price medications and maintain inventory.</li>
<li>Deliver medications to patients or facilities as needed.</li>
<li>Follow infection-control, safety, and pharmacy policies and regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and organized pharmacy environment.</li>
</ul>
 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Previous retail pharmacy experience – REQUIRED.</li>
<li>National Pharmacy Technician Certification from any recognized certifying organization – REQUIRED.</li>
<li>EPIC experience – REQUIRED.</li>
<li>Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License at time of submission – REQUIRED.</li>
<li>BLS certification – PREFERRED.</li>
