???? Type: Temp-to-Hire | 1099 Contractor Transitioning to W2 Full-Time Employment

Compensation & Schedule

???? Local Pay Rate: $60/hr
???? Traveler Pay Rate: $55/hr
???? Per Diem: $150/Day (Travelers Only)
???? Completion Bonus: $150/month
???? Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8 Hour Days | Approximately 40 Hours Per Week
???? Additional Schedule Details: Weekend work may be required based on project needs.

The Construction Safety Manager will serve as the sole safety professional onsite, working directly with project management, supervision, subcontractors, and craft personnel to maintain compliance and ensure safe execution of all work activities.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 510 Certification
✔ Previous Lead Safety Experience
✔ Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience preferred
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Experience conducting inspections, audits, orientations, and safety meetings
✔ Ability to work independently as the primary safety representative onsite

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide daily field safety oversight for ongoing construction activities
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
  • Lead project safety orientations and toolbox talks
  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
  • Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and reports
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
  • Serve as the primary onsite safety resource for all project personnel
