Retail Store Sales Associate Opportunity
WaterWorks Pools & Spas
Base Pay $33,000 anually + commissions
Full-time and Part-time positions available

Waterworks Pools & Spas is a family-owned company that has been serving South Carolina since 2001. What started as a single truck has grown into a multi-location company helping homeowners create incredible outdoor living spaces. Our retail showroom in Florence offers customers everything they need for their backyard lifestyle — including pool and spa chemicals, hot tubs, outdoor furniture, outdoor kitchens, pools, and more. We are looking for a friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associate who enjoys working with people and delivering customer service that clients truly love. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong sales personality, enjoys helping customers find solutions, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
· Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
· Provide exceptional customer service that builds long-term relationships
· Help customers select the right products for their pools, spas, and outdoor living spaces
Retail Sales
· Assist customers with retail purchases including hot tubs, outdoor furniture, outdoor kitchens, and above-ground pools
· Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs
· Support retail promotions and showroom sales opportunities
Water Testing & Product Knowledge
· Perform water testing for customers and explain proper pool care
· Educate customers on chemicals, equipment, and maintenance products
· Maintain strong knowledge of retail products and offerings
Store Operations
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
· Assist with inventory, stocking, and merchandising
· Support daily retail store operations and team collaboration
Qualifications
· Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
· Sales-minded with the ability to confidently recommend products
· Retail or customer service experience preferred
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy retail environment
· Willingness to learn about pool care, spas, and outdoor living products
Ability to lift 40 lb to assist customers with their salt purchases.
