Commissioning Engineer
Will look at candidates for either Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and/or Control System
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Commissioning Engineer to oversee the commissioning process of various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems are designed, installed, and function according to the specified requirements, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the commissioning process for mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and/or control systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and performance testing of systems to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Prepare and review commissioning plans, schedules, and reports.
- Collaborate with design teams to conduct commissioning design reviews and ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide training and support to operational staff on new systems and equipment.
- Identify issues during the commissioning process and recommend solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, National Electrical Codes, and International Codes in all commissioning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in system commissioning, particularly in HVAC and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of control systems and commissioning practices.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and National Electrical Codes.
- Experience with commissioning design reviews is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
