- Training Schedule: 1st shift until trained, then transition to 2nd shift

- Temporary-to-hire opportunity after 520 hours

Job DescriptionAs a Kitting Lead, you will guide and supervise line workers in the kitting and assembly process. You’ll ensure daily production goals are met, maintain quality and safety standards, and support department operations in the Supervisor’s absence. This hands-on leadership role includes performing quality checks, setting up equipment, coordinating workflow, and maintaining accurate documentation.Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitting operations and assign tasks to team members
- Train line workers on job-specific requirements and safety procedures
- Review job instructions, verify materials, and prep for production
- Conduct routine quality checks and ensure compliance with production standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Prepare reports and update daily production metrics
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and other departments
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Kitting Lead or Kitting Level II role
- Ability to read and follow job instructions and safety procedures
- Working knowledge of kitting equipment (e.g., shrink wrapper, tape machine, conveyors)
- Basic computer skills including use of production software (Monarch, Promail, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- English required; Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
