Position Overview
Torque by Ryder is actively hiring a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mobile Auto and Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Philadelphia, PA.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Diesel Technician, you will:
- Interact with customers and manage accounts to facilitate preventative maintenance and repair issue resolution.
- Coordinate work schedules based on customer needs and road test vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including:
- Diagnosing and repairing A/C systems, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance like oil changes and brake work.
- Handling advanced repairs, including major engine repairs and fuel injection systems.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical certification preferred).
- Basic tools and a demonstrated aptitude for mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
- At least three years of relevant work experience (preferred).
- A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions
This position may require you to drive Ryder vehicles, and you must be able to:
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test and DOT physical.
- Complete a Ryder road test and background check.
